Pre-Procurement Equipment Validation

Pre-Procurement is typically simple, equipment submittals are reviewed and approved, equipment procured occurs within 30-60days of approval, but what happens when you’re purchasing equipment on long-term projects or upgrading equipment for your Technology Progression Plan 2-3 years down the road? Equipment Validation services are meant to provide a quick validation on electronic equipment prior to purchase on projects where equipment is purchased more than 180days after initial approval. In some instances, equipment may be procured as far out as 36months after the original submittal. Equipment Validation provides a service to ensure older equipment no longer support is provided, or equipment that will become end-of-life within 24months from the end of the contract are not installed. The Validation report for procurement will provide the status of each piece of equipment, and any recommended replacements.

Document Management & Compliance

We process all documents including existing documentation provided for design evaluation and convert them to a digital record. We provide access to the documents utilizing common file types and collaboration software. Design Drawings, Submittals, Modifications, Record of Completions, Testing Reports, Commissioning Reports, and Change Management Documents are all organized and accessible on a project-by-project basis.

PMBOK Based Project Management

With all types of construction effective Project Management is essential to successful coordination, installation, and completion. Adept Innovation & Technology practices PMBOK Project Management practices and can provide construction management services for IT or Technology Related projects of any size. Services can include Project Schedules utilizing Critical Path Methods, with the schedule provided and maintained by PMP Certified Project Manager. Additional SME roles provided for owner’s meetings, construction meetings, and quality control inspections of the installation teams include NICET II Fire Alarm QC Technician, NICET IV Fire Alarm Engineering Technician, BICSI RCDD Designer, and PSP Physical Security Professional.

3rd Party Commissioning Reports

Our team provides extensive 3^rd Party Commissioning services for testing, compliance, record of completion, and closeout inspections with Authority Having Jurisdiction. We work with other design firms to provide these independent services, as well installation companies.

System Training & Support Planning

The best implemented solutions and technology do not bring full potential to the owner without proper training and a preventative maintenance plan. All training services provided within our design solutions are professionally video recorded, indexed, and retained for continued training available to the owner and facility personnel. In addition to the training provided by the installation company, Adept Innovation & Technology staff continually participate in training to provide additional support. Preventative maintenance shall be performed on all safety and security systems to ensure optimal operation throughout the life cycle of the system. Preventative maintenance includes software, firmware, and hardware components; the recommended Preventative Maintenance Plan is provided with each solution design.
